E ntão Arão, o sacerdote, subiu ao monte Hor, conforme o mandado do Senhor, e ali morreu no quadragésimo ano depois da saída dos filhos de Israel da terra do Egito, no quinto mês, no primeiro dia do mês.

Aaron the priest went up on Mount Hor at the command of the Lord, and died there in the fortieth year after the Israelites came out of Egypt, the first day of the fifth month.
