و َصَعِدَ هارُونُ الكاهِنُ إلَى جَبَلِ هُورَ بِحَسَبِ أمرِ اللهِ ، وَماتَ عَلَيهِ فِي اليَومِ الأوَّلِ مِنَ الشَّهرِ الخامِسِ فِي السَّنَةِ الأربَعِينَ لِخُرُوجِ بَني إسْرائِيلَ مِنْ مِصرَ.

Aaron the priest went up on Mount Hor at the command of the Lord, and died there in the fortieth year after the Israelites came out of Egypt, the first day of the fifth month.
