A ssim se acendeu a ira do Senhor contra Israel, e ele os fez andar errantes no deserto quarenta anos, até que se consumiu toda aquela geração que fizera mal aos olhos do Senhor.

And Jehovah's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation was consumed that had done evil in the eyes of Jehovah.
