A nd it hath come to pass, that the Philistine hath risen, and goeth, and draweth near to meet David, and David hasteth and runneth to the rank to meet the Philistine,

وَتَقَدَّمَ جُلياتُ الفِلِسْطِيُّ لِمُهاجَمَةِ داوُدَ. وَكانَ يَقتَرِبُ بِبُطءٍ أكثَرَ فَأكثَرَ مِنْ داوُدَ. لَكِنَّ داوُدَ رَكَضَ لِمُلاقاتِهِ.
