W hen the Philistine arose, and walked and came near to meet David, David hurried, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

وَتَقَدَّمَ جُلياتُ الفِلِسْطِيُّ لِمُهاجَمَةِ داوُدَ. وَكانَ يَقتَرِبُ بِبُطءٍ أكثَرَ فَأكثَرَ مِنْ داوُدَ. لَكِنَّ داوُدَ رَكَضَ لِمُلاقاتِهِ.
