A nd the man Elkanah goeth up, and all his house, to sacrifice to Jehovah the sacrifice of the days, and his vow.

وَفِي تِلكَ السَّنَةِ ذَهَبَ ألقانَةُ إلَى شِيلُوهَ، لِيُقَدِّمَ للهِ الذَّبِيْحَةَ السَّنَوِيَّةَ، وَلِيُوفِيَ بِنُذُورِهِ. وَأخَذَ مَعَهُ عائِلَتَهُ.
