A nd the man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer unto the LORD the accustomed sacrifice and his vow.

وَفِي تِلكَ السَّنَةِ ذَهَبَ ألقانَةُ إلَى شِيلُوهَ، لِيُقَدِّمَ للهِ الذَّبِيْحَةَ السَّنَوِيَّةَ، وَلِيُوفِيَ بِنُذُورِهِ. وَأخَذَ مَعَهُ عائِلَتَهُ.
