Joshua 10:40 ~ Iosua 10:40

A nd Joshua smiteth all the land of the hill-country, and of the south, and of the low-country, and of the springs, and all their kings -- he hath not left a remnant, and all that doth breathe he hath devoted, as Jehovah, God of Israel, commanded.

Iosua a bătut astfel toată ţara, muntele, partea de miazăzi, cîmpia şi costişele, şi a bătut pe toţi împăraţii; n'a lăsat să scape nimeni, şi a nimicit cu desăvîrşire tot ce avea suflare, cum poruncise Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.
