Joshua 10:40 ~ Giosué 10:40

A nd Joshua smiteth all the land of the hill-country, and of the south, and of the low-country, and of the springs, and all their kings -- he hath not left a remnant, and all that doth breathe he hath devoted, as Jehovah, God of Israel, commanded.

Giosuè dunque batté tutto il paese, la contrada montuosa, la regione meridionale, la regione bassa, le pendici e tutti i loro re; non lasciò scampare nessuno, ma votò allo sterminio tutto ciò che aveva vita, come il Signore, il Dio d’Israele, aveva comandato.
