T hen it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, chosen men out of themselves to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas -- Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren --

Atunci apostolii şi bătrânii, împreună cu toată biserica, au hotărât să aleagă dintre ei nişte bărbaţi pe care să-i trimită în Antiohia, împreună cu Barnabas şi cu Pavel. I-au ales pe Iuda, numit şi Barsabas, şi pe Silas, bărbaţi cu funcţie de conducere între fraţi.
