A tunci apostolii şi bătrânii, împreună cu toată biserica, au hotărât să aleagă dintre ei nişte bărbaţi pe care să-i trimită în Antiohia, împreună cu Barnabas şi cu Pavel. I-au ales pe Iuda, numit şi Barsabas, şi pe Silas, bărbaţi cu funcţie de conducere între fraţi.

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, chosen men out of themselves to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas -- Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren --
