` And -- praying -- ye may not use vain repetitions like the nations, for they think that in their much speaking they shall be heard,

«وَعِندَما تُصَلُّونَ، لا تَنطُقُوا بِكَلِماتٍ بِغَيرِ فَهْمٍ كَما يَفعَلُ عابِدُو الأوثانِ، فَهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ أنَّ صَلَواتِهُمْ سَتُستَجابُ بِسَبَبِ كَثْرَةِ كَلامِهِمْ.
