A nd in praying use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

«وَعِندَما تُصَلُّونَ، لا تَنطُقُوا بِكَلِماتٍ بِغَيرِ فَهْمٍ كَما يَفعَلُ عابِدُو الأوثانِ، فَهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ أنَّ صَلَواتِهُمْ سَتُستَجابُ بِسَبَبِ كَثْرَةِ كَلامِهِمْ.
