B ecause thou hast spoiled many nations, Spoil thee do all the remnant of the peoples, Because of man's blood, and of violence the land, the city, and all dwelling in it.

Fiindcă ai jefuit multe neamuri, toate popoarele care vor rămâne te vor jefui! Căci ai vărsat sângele oamenilor şi ai săvârşit violenţă pe pământ, împotriva cetăţilor şi împotriva tuturor celor ce locuiesc în ele!
