F or I have known -- many your transgressions, And mighty your sins, Adversaries of the righteous, taking ransoms, And the needy in the gate ye turned aside.

Io infatti conosco quanto siano numerose le vostre trasgressioni e quanto gravi i vostri peccati; voi opprimete il giusto, accettate regali e fate torto ai poveri alla porta.
