A nd in the offering of your gifts, In causing your sons to pass through fire, Ye are defiled by all your idols to this day, And I am sought by you, O house of Israel! I live -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, I am not sought by you.

‘Cuando ofrecéis vuestras ofrendas, cuando hacéis pasar por el fuego a vuestros hijos, os contamináis con todos vuestros ídolos hasta el día de hoy. ¿Y me dejaré consultar yo por vosotros, casa de Israel? Vivo yo’ —declara el Señor Dios — ‘que no me dejaré consultar por vosotros.
