T herefore I weep with the weeping of Jazer, The vine of Sibmah, I water thee my tear, O Heshbon and Elealeh, For -- for thy summer fruits, and for thy harvest, The shouting hath fallen.

Pelo que prantearei, com o pranto de Jazer, a vinha de Sibma; regar-te-ei com as minhas lágrimas, ó Hesbom e Eleale; porque sobre os teus frutos de verão e sobre a tua sega caiu o grito da batalha.
