T herefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah; I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for upon thy summer fruits and upon thy harvest the battle shout is fallen.

Pelo que prantearei, com o pranto de Jazer, a vinha de Sibma; regar-te-ei com as minhas lágrimas, ó Hesbom e Eleale; porque sobre os teus frutos de verão e sobre a tua sega caiu o grito da batalha.
