I f evil doth come upon us -- sword, judgment, and pestilence, and famine -- we stand before this house, and before Thee, for Thy name in this house, and cry unto Thee out of our distress, and Thou dost hear and save.

倘 有 禍 患 臨 到 我 們 ， 或 刀 兵 災 殃 ， 或 瘟 疫 饑 荒 ， 我 們 在 急 難 的 時 候 ， 站 在 這 殿 前 向 你 呼 求 ， 你 必 垂 聽 而 拯 救 ， 因 為 你 的 名 在 這 殿 裡 。
