I f evil doth come upon us -- sword, judgment, and pestilence, and famine -- we stand before this house, and before Thee, for Thy name in this house, and cry unto Thee out of our distress, and Thou dost hear and save.

If evil comes upon us, the sword of judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You—for Your Name is in this house—and cry to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.
