A nd David saith unto Ornan, `Give to me the place of the threshing-floor, and I build in it an altar to Jehovah; for full silver give it to me, and the plague is restrained from the people.'

David i-a zis lui Ornan: – Dă-mi locul ariei ca să zidesc aici un altar Domnului – vinde-mi-l la adevărata lui valoare – ca astfel urgia care s-a abătut asupra poporului să înceteze.
