a nd David lifteth up his eyes, and seeth the messenger of Jehovah standing between the earth and the heavens, and his sword drawn in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem, and David falleth, and the elders, covered with sackcloth, on their faces.

David s-a uitat şi l-a văzut pe îngerul Domnului stând între pământ şi cer şi având în mână sabia scoasă, îndreptată împotriva Ierusalimului. Atunci David şi cei din sfatul bătrânilor, acoperiţi cu saci, au căzut cu faţa la pământ.
