a nd all the men of valour rise and bear away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and bring them in to Jabesh, and bury their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fast seven days.

tutti gli uomini valorosi si levarono, presero il cadavere di Saul e i cadaveri dei suoi figli e li portarono a Jabesh; seppellirono quindi le loro ossa sotto il tamerisco di Jabesh e digiunarono per sette giorni.
