A nd he hath removed all Jerusalem, and all the chiefs, and all the mighty ones of valour -- ten thousand the removal -- and every artificer and smith, none hath been left save the poor of the people of the land.

Nabucodonosor se llevó cautivos a diez mil habitantes de Jerusalén. Todos los príncipes y todos los mejores soldados, y todos los artesanos y herreros, fueron hechos cautivos. En el país sólo se quedó la gente más pobre.
