T hen doth Menahem smite Tiphsah, and all who in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it opened not, and he smiteth, all its pregnant women he hath ripped up.

Then from Tirzah, Menahem attacked Tiphsah, all who were there, and its territory. Because they did not surrender, therefore he attacked it. All the women there who were with child he ripped open. Menahem Reigns in Israel
