t hey near the great stone that in Gibeon, and Amasa hath gone before them, and Joab girded; his long robe he hath put on him, and upon it a girdle -- a sword fastened upon his loins in its sheath; and he hath gone out, and it falleth.

Lorsqu'ils furent près de la grande pierre qui est à Gabaon, Amasa arriva devant eux. Joab était ceint d'une épée par-dessus les habits dont il était revêtu; elle était attachée à ses reins dans le fourreau, d'où elle glissa, comme Joab s'avançait.
