W hen they were at the large stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa came before them. Now Joab was dressed in battle armor; on it was a belt with a sword fastened in its sheath at his hips; and as he was going forward, it fell out.

Lorsqu'ils furent près de la grande pierre qui est à Gabaon, Amasa arriva devant eux. Joab était ceint d'une épée par-dessus les habits dont il était revêtu; elle était attachée à ses reins dans le fourreau, d'où elle glissa, comme Joab s'avançait.
