A nd Joab saith to the man who is declaring to him, `And lo, thou hast seen -- and wherefore didst thou not smite him there to the earth -- and on me to give to thee ten silverlings and one girdle?'

Allora Joab rispose all'uomo che lo aveva informato: «Ecco, tu l'hai visto? E perché non l'hai tu, sul posto steso morto al suolo? Io ti avrei dato dieci sicli d'argento e una cintura».
