A nd the counsel of Ahithophel which he counselled in those days as one inquireth at the word of God; so all the counsel of Ahithophel both to David and to Absalom.

În acea vreme, sfatul pe care îl dădea Ahitofel avea aceeaşi autoritate ca şi când cineva L-ar fi întrebat pe Dumnezeu. Aşa erau toate sfaturile pe care le dădea Ahitofel atât lui David, cât şi lui Absalom.
