A nd the woman of Tekoah saith unto the king, `On me, my lord, O king, the iniquity, and on the house of my father; and the king and his throne innocent.'

– O, rege, stăpânul meu, i-a zis femeia din Tekoa regelui, asupra mea şi asupra familiei tatălui meu să cadă vina. Iar regele şi tronul său să rămână fără vină.
