c hief Magdiel, chief Iram: these chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he Esau father of Edom.

وَمَجْدِيئِيلَ وَعِيرامَ. هَذِهِ قَبائلُ أدُومَ حَسَبَ تَوزِيعِهِمْ فِي الأرْضِ الَّتِي امتَلَكُوها. وَعِيسُو هُوَ أصلُ أهلِ أدُومَ.
