Joshua 8:33 ~ Josué 8:33

A ll Israel, their elders and officers, and their judges, stood on both sides of the ark before the priests the Levites, who carried the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, the foreigner as well as the native; half of them in front of Mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of Yahweh had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel.

Todo o Israel, estrangeiros e naturais da terra, com os seus líderes, os seus oficiais e os seus juízes, estavam em pé dos dois lados da arca da aliança do Senhor, diante dos sacerdotes levitas, que a carregavam. Metade do povo estava em pé, defronte do monte Gerizim, e metade, defronte do monte Ebal. Tudo conforme Moisés, servo do Senhor, tinha ordenado anteriormente, para que o povo de Israel fosse abençoado.
