J oshua set up twelve stones in the middle of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood; and they are there to this day.

Iosua a ridicat şi el douăsprezece pietre în mijlocul Iordanului, în locul unde se opriseră picioarele preoţilor cari duceau chivotul legămîntului; şi ele au rămas acolo pînă în ziua de azi.
