I n this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;

لِذَلِكَ عِنْدَما أرادَ اللهُ أنْ يُوضِحَ لِكُلِّ وَرَثَةِ الوَعدِ أنَّ نَواياهُ لا تَتَغَيَّرُ أبَداً، ثَبَّتَ وَعْدَهُ بِقَسَمٍ.
