I n the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath,

لِذَلِكَ عِنْدَما أرادَ اللهُ أنْ يُوضِحَ لِكُلِّ وَرَثَةِ الوَعدِ أنَّ نَواياهُ لا تَتَغَيَّرُ أبَداً، ثَبَّتَ وَعْدَهُ بِقَسَمٍ.
