T he days in which we came from Kadesh Barnea, until we had come over the brook Zered, were thirty-eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the middle of the camp, as Yahweh swore to them.

Ora il tempo impiegalo per giungere da Kadesh-Barnea fino al passaggio del torrente Zered, di trent'otto anni, finché tutta la generazione degli uomini di guerra scomparve interamente dall'accampamento, come l'Eterno aveva loro giurato.
