H owever, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.

فَالَّذِي أنجَبَتْهُ الجارِيَةُ وُلِدَ بِطَرِيقَةٍ طَبِيعِيَّةٍ، أمّا الَّذِي أنجَبَتْهُ الحُرَّةُ فَقَدْ وُلِدَ بِوَعْدٍ مِنَ اللهِ.
