B ut he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

فَالَّذِي أنجَبَتْهُ الجارِيَةُ وُلِدَ بِطَرِيقَةٍ طَبِيعِيَّةٍ، أمّا الَّذِي أنجَبَتْهُ الحُرَّةُ فَقَدْ وُلِدَ بِوَعْدٍ مِنَ اللهِ.
