H is parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.

Esto dijeron sus padres, porque tenían miedo a los judíos, por cuanto los judíos ya habían acordado que si alguno confesase que Jesús era el Mesías, fuera expulsado de la sinagoga.
