T hese words spoke his parents because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone did confess that he was the Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Esto dijeron sus padres, porque tenían miedo a los judíos, por cuanto los judíos ya habían acordado que si alguno confesase que Jesús era el Mesías, fuera expulsado de la sinagoga.
