S eeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

E vedendo un fico lungo la strada, gli si avvicinò, ma non vi trovò nulla se non delle foglie; e gli disse: «Non nasca mai piú frutto da te in eterno!». E subito il fico si seccò.
