T hey make promises, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.

قَطَعُوا وُعُوداً بِأقسامٍ كاذِبَةٍ، دَخَلُوا فِي عَهدٍ. صارَتِ العَدالَةُ المُنحَرِفَةُ تَنبُتُ كَالأعْشابِ الضّارَّةِ فِي أتلامِ الحَقلِ.
