T hey have spoken mere words of the lips, swearing falsely in making covenants; therefore judgment springs up like hemlock in the furrows of the field.

قَطَعُوا وُعُوداً بِأقسامٍ كاذِبَةٍ، دَخَلُوا فِي عَهدٍ. صارَتِ العَدالَةُ المُنحَرِفَةُ تَنبُتُ كَالأعْشابِ الضّارَّةِ فِي أتلامِ الحَقلِ.
