B ehold, you trust in the staff of this bruised reed, even in Egypt, which if a man leans on it, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.

Ecco, tu confidi sul sostegno di questa canna rotta, che è l'Egitto, che penetra nella mano di chi vi si appoggia e la fora. Tale è appunto il Faraone, re d'Egitto, per tutti quelli che confidano in lui.
