E cco, tu confidi sul sostegno di questa canna rotta, che è l'Egitto, che penetra nella mano di chi vi si appoggia e la fora. Tale è appunto il Faraone, re d'Egitto, per tutti quelli che confidano in lui.

Behold, you trust in the staff of this bruised reed, even in Egypt, which if a man leans on it, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.
