Exodus 32:1 ~ Éxodo 32:1

W hen the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.”

Al ver el pueblo que Moisés tardaba en bajar del monte, fueron a ver a Aarón y le dijeron: «Anda, haznos unos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros, porque a este Moisés, que nos sacó de Egipto, no sabemos qué pudo haberle sucedido.»
