Exodus 32:1 ~ 2 Mose 32:1

W hen the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.”

Da aber das Volk sah, daß Mose verzog, von dem Berge zu kommen, sammelte sich's wider Aaron und sprach zu ihm: Auf, mache uns Götter, die vor uns her gehen! Denn wir wissen nicht, was diesem Mann Mose widerfahren ist, der uns aus Ägyptenland geführt hat.
