F or he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a teaching in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;

قَطَعَ عَهداً مَعَ يَعْقُوبَ. وَضَعَ شَرِيعَةً فِي إسْرائِيلَ. أمَرَ آباءَنا بِأنْ يُعَلِّمُوها لِأبنائِهِمْ.
