D avid said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.

Davide disse ancora a suo figlio Salomone: «Sii forte, fatti coraggio, e mettiti all’opera; non temere, non ti sgomentare; perché il Signore, Dio, il mio Dio, sarà con te; egli non ti lascerà e non ti abbandonerà fino a che tutta l’opera per il servizio della casa del Signore sia compiuta.
