T hen David said to his son Solomon, “ Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.

Davide disse ancora a suo figlio Salomone: «Sii forte, fatti coraggio, e mettiti all’opera; non temere, non ti sgomentare; perché il Signore, Dio, il mio Dio, sarà con te; egli non ti lascerà e non ti abbandonerà fino a che tutta l’opera per il servizio della casa del Signore sia compiuta.
